What’s your story?

For more than 30 years, my role as a Marketing and Communications professional has involved being a strategic storyteller for businesses, stakeholders, and diverse clients who are excited to share their story. As a passionate professional with expertise in marketing, website design, graphic design, and public relations, here are some key elements of my own story:

1. With more than 30 years of experience in marketing, I have served in diverse roles focused on graphic design, website design, higher education marketing, advertising, and freelancing by providing a plethora of marketing services.

2. I work towards success in everything. This goes as far back as high school serving as valedictorian, yearbook editor-in chief and captain of varsity athletic teams, to serving in numerous leadership roles across my career.

3. Because storytelling is an art through writing and visuals, I have an expertise with various technical tools including social media platforms, WordPress, MailChimp, Constant Contact, Meltwater, Hubspot, Adobe Creative Suite, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other tools.

4. While I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, my knowledge, skills and experience make me highly comparable to a Master’s Degree or Advanced Degree student, especially after serving as an adjunct instructor.

5. Outside of my professional career, my interests and activities involve family and local community with highlights including marketing for several local high schools, Historical Society Volunteer, Event planning, Youth Soccer Coaching, serving as PTA President, Women’s Softball Player-Coach, Youth Basketball Coach, Co-ed Flag Football Player, NASA Research Assistant, Chick-fil-A Marketing Liaison, and College newspaper reporter/editor.

6. Along with helping businesses and clients tell their story, I also enjoy being part of the stories of several local community organizations and non-profits.
